“I’ll take 92 points after 45 games. It just shows the strength – and credit to Dorking, credit to Tooting for getting over the 100 point mark”
On Bank Holiday Monday, Greenwich Borough travelled to Cray Wanderers, taking home a point after a goalless encounter. With just one game remaining, Greenwich’s play-off spot has already been confirmed, and too, their opponent. The Cannons currently position 3rd in the Ryman South with 92 points, and a goal difference of +46. Corinthian-Casuals presently occupy fourth spot, with 90 points, and therefore, the final day of the season will decide whether Greenwich will host the play-off semi-final or travel across the capital to Kingston-upon-Thames.
“They’ve beat us twice, but I don’t fear them – on our day we’re capable of beating anyone”
On Tuesday, BOTN spoke with Greenwich Borough manager, Gary Alexander.
